Hello,
I created my tables in mySQL monitor, but I was unsure how to use typescript to post the text file. I did some research and so I entered:
mySQL> script EmploymentTables;
and received:
ERROR 1064(42000): You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'script EmploymentTables' at line 1.
I know there is something probably stupid I'm missing, but I cannot for the life of me figure this out.
Thanks.

typescript is a unix command/property not a mysql command. So you cannot evoke the script command from the mysql prompt. When you are at the mysql prompt you can only run mysql commands. So, exit out of the mysql prompt and that should bring you to the unix prompt and there you want to start your script and then go to mysql prompt and run show/describe tables.
Or, when you first log into your ugxx account then run your script command. After you do the mysql stuff you will exit out of mysql, then exit out of typescript then exit out of unix.
